These land claims now has the LL Stub Steward St. Park as well as a small town of Buxton. Henry Buxton hired engineers from the East Coast to design and build the community of Buxton. By the early 1900’s Buxton had a population of 2000-plus. The logging industry and building the railroad made this community grow.
